Maharashtra 6th Pay Commission Maharshtra to implement 6th Pay commission report
The Maharashtra Government has decided to implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission that will benefit around 13 lakh state government employees. After implementing the 6th pay commissionrecommendations for MaharashtraThe, the state government will bear an additional burden of Rs 8.091 cr.
The Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan announced to implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission immediately. Pensioners will also get the benefit of the pay revision. It is estimated that the state government has to pay Rs 18,370 crore towards the arrears of the pay revision.
After the implementation, the employees of Maharashtra government will get an average hike of 20-30 per cent.
As per the sixth Pay Commission recommendations , the hike will be implemented by the Maharashtra government from January 1, 2006, the employees will get huge amount of arrears. The arrears will be paid to the employees in installments over the next 5 years.
